  18. display options. (And thanks to other replies by email).

  20. I'll definitely take your suggestion to order the manual. The last time I'd
  21. looked at kermit, there was no FAQ, and I didn't know anyone who was
  22. familiar with the package; so we stopped using it. This time around, I'm
  23. very happy with the results. Help from the FAQ and this newsgroup made the
  24. difference.

  26. One minor point that bothers me. When I'm transferring files, issuing send
  27. and receive on both the local and remote system seems redundant; both are
  28. unix sytems, always. Is it possible to eliminate maybe with macros or
  29. scripts? If it's covered in the manual, I'll look it up when I receive it.
